Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in the RMG/apparel industry.
Additional Requirements
Knowledge of Quality-at-Source and defect tagging protocols.
Awareness of ISO standards.
Strong knowledge of garment measurement specifications and workmanship standards.
Knowledge of different buyer requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge/interest in Artificial Intelligence and digital quality systems will be an advantage.
Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct roaming quality inspections across finishing cellular units to prevent defect propagation.
Conduct first-piece and changeover clearance by verifying measurements, workmanship, and approved reference samples.
Identify quality issues and implement immediate defect containment measures.
Place red-tag holds on non-compliant packing lots and control rework activities.
Coach finishing workers and cell leaders on self-inspection and defect prevention.
Ensure compliance with customer packing specifications and quality requirements.
Maintain inspection station standards according to approved SOPs.
Prepare and report quality trend data.
Monitor recurring defects and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to improve quality performance.
