Strong experience in RMG/apparel manufacturing is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Strong product construction knowledge, particularly denim/woven bottoms and woven tops.
Method Engineering, Motion Study, and SMV Calculation.
Line Balancing, Operation Bulletin, and Work Unit Configuration.
Digital Order Readiness System and Kanban/POUS configuration.
GSD / GST / PMTS certification or practical knowledge.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
Knowledge/interest in Artificial Intelligence and digital manufacturing systems.
Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare product costing, Work Unit Breakdowns (WUB), Standard Minute Values (SMV), operation bulletins, and engineering sheets.
Develop workstation layouts, machine allocation plans, and production line balancing.
Prepare machine changeover movement plans and support effective Kanban sizing.
Drive SMV reduction through motion study, handling simplification, and process re-engineering.
Validate engineering requirements through the Digital Order Readiness System before production release.
Ensure engineering data and technical information are accurate and updated.
Support production teams in resolving engineering and method-related issues.
Identify opportunities for process simplification, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
