Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager – Quality Control to lead the overall quality assurance and quality control functions of our woven garments manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure world-class quality standards, customer satisfaction, and continuous process improvement from fabric inspection to final shipment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the entire Quality Control team across Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and Packing.

  • Develop and implement quality strategies, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards and international quality requirements.

  • Monitor inline, end-line, and final inspection activities to achieve Right First Time (RFT) performance.

  • Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Industrial Engineering, Washing, and Technical teams to resolve quality issues.

  • Handle buyer audits, technical visits, and third-party quality inspections.

  • Monitor DHU, defect trends, rejection rates, and quality KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with AQL standards and shipment quality requirements.

  • Develop and mentor quality teams through coaching, training, and performance management.

  • Prepare quality reports for management and recommend strategic improvements.
