Job Responsibilities
Lead and motivate the QA team to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
Review production samples and coordinate execution plans with the production team.
Implement and oversee in-line, pre-final, final, and lot quality audits effectively.
Define, update, and enforce QA policies, SOPs, and QMS across all processes.
Plan and monitor internal processes that impact product and process quality.
Participate in all audits, manage non-compliances, and ensure timely reporting.
Conduct root cause analyses and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with production, IE, and planning teams to integrate quality from the start.
Apply Kaizen, Six Sigma, and trend analysis to reduce defects and improve quality.
Analyze customer requirements for efficient, cost-effective, and repeatable quality standards.
Digitize QA operations using real-time defect tracking, dashboards, and inline tablets.
Apply statistical process control (SPC) in critical operations to monitor process variations.
Use risk-based planning for new styles to pre-identify and prevent quality issues.
Handle customer complaints and post-shipment claim with proper documentation.
Ensure audit readiness (AQL, social, technical) through mock audits and compliance checks.
Manage chemical and wash quality compliance, including RSL and lab testing.
Deliver structured training and succession planning for QA team capability development.
Build a culture of quality ownership across all production teams, not just QA.
