Experience:
Training on short course on store management will be considered as extra qualification.
The candidate must have thorough practical knowledge as a head of store for at least 5 years in any large compliant garment industry and have the capacity to maintain store audit requirements independently & must have the capacity to take instant necessary corrective measures.
Should have good command in the English language and be well conversant in computer applications.
Manage and oversee all store operations, ensuring effective inventory management and proper storage of materials, accessories, spare parts, and finished goods.
Implement, operate, and monitor ERP-based inventory control systems to maintain real-time inventory accuracy and ensure data integrity.
Ensure timely receipt, inspection, recording, storage, and issuance of materials in accordance with company procedures.
Maintain proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), issue records, stock transfer records, and other relevant store documents.
Ensure all materials and goods are stored with proper identification, labeling, and traceability in compliance with Chain of Custody (COC) requirements and customer audit standards.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement, production, and planning teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
Conduct regular physical stock counts, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits, and reconcile discrepancies through the ERP system.
Maintain accurate inventory records and generate periodic inventory reports for management review.
Ensure proper preservation, handling, and storage conditions of all materials to minimize damage, loss, and wastage.
Supervise store personnel and ensure efficient allocation of duties and adherence to store procedures.
Coordinate with commercial, procurement, and logistics departments regarding import/export-related documentation and material movements.
Maintain thorough knowledge of import and export procedures applicable to a large, compliant garments manufacturing organization.
Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, safety standards, and internal/external audit requirements.
Prepare and support compliance, customer, and certification audits by maintaining accurate records and required documentation.
Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Establish and maintain an organized warehouse/store layout to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.
Analyze inventory data and prepare reports on stock status, inventory turnover, consumption trends, and material requirements.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth material flow and operational efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in store operations, inventory management, ERP utilization, and compliance standards.
