Responsibilities & Context:
Must have sufficient knowledge in import & export, international business, Trading, Custom clearing & forwarding, negotiate & finalize with authority regarding Customs/Bank/Export /LC/Freight Forwarding/ C&F/ Supply Chain etc. of Commercial Department of the company.
Co-ordinate with custom, vat and others related Govt. Officials, C & F Agents, Banks, Freight Forwarders, and Transport for Export & Import purpose etc.
Execute, monitor and manage L/C related work which include- corresponding with vendors, opening L/C and its amendment, monitoring shipment, document requirement formalities and custom clearing.
Maintain proper liaison with concerned agencies, trade bodies, banks, shipping line, C & F agents, transport agents, insurance companies, VAT department, production and merchandising department.
Should have adequate knowledge in Industry Policy, Import Policy & Export Policy.
Capable to handle EPB related activities & Prepare documents.
Collect quotation against specific freight forwarder and prepare comparative statement for specific exportable items.
Perform any task given by the Management.
