  • At least two years’ practical experience in support of clinical practice, OP Consultation, investigations, medicine dispensing, or primary health care delivery, etc., in any NGO Clinic / Private Hospital.

  • Computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email and web browsing, Microsoft Outlook.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context: ASA, one of the leading microfinance organizations in Bangladesh, provides healthcare services through 82 Primary Health Centers and 14 Integrated Health Centers as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. ASA is currently seeking competent and service-oriented professionals for the position of Health Center In-Charge/Medical Assistant at its Integrated Health Centers and Primary Health Centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide quality primary healthcare services at the Health Center and designated satellite spots in accordance with ASA guidelines and applicable national healthcare standards.

  • Plan and conduct satellite health sessions at designated community locations as per approved work plans to ensure accessible healthcare services for community members.

  • Organize and facilitate periodic health camps in accordance with the approved plan and program requirements.

  • Conduct health awareness, education, and promotional activities at the community level to promote preventive healthcare practices.

  • Ensure the delivery of quality and timely healthcare services through satellite spots and community-based initiatives.

  • Maintain effective medicine inventory and stock management, including proper recording, monitoring, and replenishment of essential medicines.

  • Conduct Family Planning (FP) and EPI awareness sessions/seminars in accordance with Government of Bangladesh (GoB) protocols and relevant guidelines.

  • Ensure proper storage, preservation, and handling of medicines, including regular monitoring of expiry dates and timely procurement in accordance with ASA's approved guidelines.

  • Maintain necessary health center records, registers, and reports and ensure timely submission to the concerned authority.

  • Perform any other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management/competent authority.
