• Bachelor or Diploma in Midwifery from any reputed Institute.

• Valid BNMC Registration mandatory.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Sound understanding and experience of primary healthcare

• Knowledge on camp situation

• Knowledge on emergency case management

SKILLS:

• Good communication skills

• Counseling skills

COMPETENCIES:

• Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision

• Demonstrated skills in clinical planning and decision making

• Demonstrated effective skills in leadership, communication, team building and conflict resolution

• Ability to work with people of various backgrounds, culture and religion

The Senior Midwife will be responsible to provide ANC, PNC, Normal Delivery, Inpatient care and immunization.

• Counseling of couples for family planning method adoption

• Provide ANC and PNC care

• Conducts normal vaginal delivery

• Refers the complicated cases

• Number of immunization provided

• In patient care service

• Ensure the safety act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. Practice, promote the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

Safeguarding:

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
