• Diploma in Medical Technology

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Medical Equipment

• Age At most 30 years

• The applicants should have at least 2 year experience in the following area(s): Medical Technology/ Lab Operation, Medical Administration.

• Attitude for working with poor and marginalized people.

• Good report-writing, laboratory, and pharmacy management skills.

• Knowledge and experience of primary healthcare principles and management.

• Proper working knowledge of Bangla and English (both spoken and written)

• Should have proper knowledge of lab management in a rural-based PHC clinic.

• Should have proper knowledge of pharmacy management in a rural-based PHC clinic.

• Computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email, and web browsing

Job Context: ASA, the largest microfinance organization in Bangladesh, is providing healthcare services through its 82 primary health centers and 14 Integrated Health Centers as part of its corporate social responsibility. Currently, ASA is looking for Medical Technologist for its Integrated Health Center.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and perform specimen collection, labeling, storage, transportation, testing, reporting, and delivery of reports.

• Maintain equipment and ensure the purchasing of lab reagents with proper stock of reagents.

• Maintain health and safety regulations- infection prevention and waste disposal practices

• Organize reporting, recording, and interpretation of results

• Carry out other related duties as and when assigned by the Organization
