Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Chemistry, or a relevant discipline.

• Relevant technical qualifications may be considered for the Asst. Executive or Senior Technician position.

• Age At least 26 years
• Only Male

• Practical knowledge of textile testing methods and laboratory equipment.

• Understanding of international testing standards and buyer requirements.

• Good analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to testing accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in textile testing procedures, laboratory equipment, and buyer-specific testing requirements will be preferred.

• Experience in the RMG industry and familiarity with buyer testing protocols will be an advantage.

Job Context:

We are looking for a competent, technically skilled, and detail-oriented professional for the position of Assistant Executive / Senior Technician – Laboratory to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory testing for fabrics, garments, trims, and accessories in accordance with buyer requirements, applicable international testing standards, and company quality procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical and chemical tests on textile materials, fabrics, and garments according to buyer requirements and applicable standards.

• Perform color fastness, shrinkage, GSM, pH, dimensional stability, and other relevant tests.

• Conduct tear and tensile strength, stretch and recovery, pilling, and abrasion resistance tests.

• Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment and instruments.

• Prepare testing reports, maintain records, and ensure accurate documentation.

• Follow approved testing methods, SOPs, and laboratory safety procedures.

• Support internal and external audits and maintain equipment calibration records.

• Coordinate with Quality, Production, and other relevant departments to resolve testing issues.
