Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
Professional accounting qualification or relevant finance training will be an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounts, administration or project operations.
Experience in NGO/development-sector finance is preferred.
Experience with donor-funded projects, budgeting, procurement and audit documentation is desirable.
Working experience with accounting/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Good Excel and budget-monitoring skills.
Strong documentation and record-keeping ability.
Knowledge of procurement and financial compliance procedures.

The Associate Finance and Admin Officer will provide financial, administrative, procurement and logistical support to ensure efficient, transparent and compliant implementation of the “Ensure Decent Employment through building Capacity, Equality, Networks and Transitions (DECENT) project in accordance with SAJIDA Foundation policies, approved budgets and donor requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Maintain accurate project financial records, vouchers, bills, invoices and supporting documents.
Support processing of payments, advances, settlements and other project financial transactions.
Monitor project expenditure against approved budget lines.
Prepare regular budget-versus-actual information for project management.
Identify and communicate budget variances and potential financial risks.
Support preparation of financial reports, forecasts and budget revisions.
Compliance and Documentation
Ensure financial documents are complete, properly authorized and maintained in an audit-ready filing system.
Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies, donor requirements and applicable procedures.
Support internal and external audit processes by providing required financial documents and information.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of project financial information.
Procurement and Administration
Support procurement of goods and services in accordance with organizational procedures.
Assist with quotation collection, comparative statements, purchase documentation and vendor coordination.
Maintain project-related administrative records, assets and inventory.
Support administrative arrangements for project activities, meetings, training and workshops.
Logistics
Coordinate logistics for project training, workshops, meetings and field visits.
Support venue arrangements, transportation, materials, accommodation and other logistical requirements.
Coordinate with Head Office Finance, Administration and Procurement teams.
Budget Monitoring
Maintain updated expenditure tracking against approved budgets.
Support the project team in planning activities within available budget allocations.
Provide timely financial information to support management decision-making.
