Experience:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Industrial & Production/Civil/Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in civil projects.
Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
Knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, and cash flow management.
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
The role is responsible for efficiently managing raw material assessment, procurement planning, vendor sourcing, and budget analysis to support civil projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in procurement processes, estimation for RCC projects, and inventory management to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess raw material requirements and plan procurement for factory.
Prepare and send RFQs with accurate technical specifications.
Analyze and estimate costs for RCC projects.
Collect quotations, prepare comparative statements (CS), and finalize orders.
Issue purchase orders (PO) and monitor work progress.
Develop inventory management strategies to optimize material usage.
Source and enlist vendors while ensuring proper documentation and integration into procurement software.
Conduct budgeting, COGS analysis, and cash flow assessments.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
