Experience:

Job Context:
Primitek Group is seeking a skilled and organised professional for the position of Deputy Manager/Manager – Depot In Charge. The role involves managing warehouse and depot operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, coordinating dispatch and delivery, and maintaining efficient storage systems. The incumbent will work closely with production, sales, and logistics teams to support smooth operational performance and timely delivery of finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Depot/Factory Operations Management:
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the depot, ensuring optimal workflow for receiving, storing, and dispatching materials/goods.
Ensure accuracy of inventory and monitor all kinds of adjustments/transactions.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (dealers, sales teams, factory respective, IC, etc.) to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
Ensure proper handling, housekeeping of products as per layout/5s of six sigma, and packaging of goods according to company standards.
Cheek all kinds of financial transaction (trip bill, repair and maintenance, depot/factory’s day to day expense)
Ensure proper utilization of all kinds of logistics (vehicle, forklift, hydraulic, warehouse etc.)
Ensure dealer and route visit to minimize distribution cost and build up relationship with the customers.
2. Staff Supervision and Management:
Lead and manage depot/factory distribution’s staff, including warehouse workers, forklift operators, and clerical staff.
Schedule and allocate duties to staff, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to timelines.
Evaluate staff, performance reviews, training, and development to improve team performance and productivity.
Enforce discipline and manage any HR-related issues within the depot/factories.
3. Inventory Control:
Oversee inventory management, including regular stock counts and reconciliation with system records.
Ensure daily, monthly, half yearly and yearly inventory as per requirements.
Implement and monitor processes for minimizing stock discrepancies, pilferage, and damages.
Ensure proper stock rotation and maintain quality control procedures.
Oversee nonmoving, overstock, unnecessary SKU and per company SOP
4. Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Noncompliance will be treated as offence. Compliance should in in all dormitory, office and everywhere.
Conduct regular safety audits and ensure that all safety equipment is in working condition.
Develop and enforce best practices for workplace safety, ensuring that staff are trained and informed.
Monitor adherence to legal, health, and environmental standards and ensure timely reporting for regulatory compliance.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain and regularize all documents that need to run a depot by maintain Govt rolls and regulation with prescribe time.
Maintain accurate records of goods received, dispatched, and stored in the depot.
Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and operational issues for management.
Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of all reports, including incident reports and financial records.
6. Coordination and Communication:
Coordinate with dealers, sales, OP, production, IC, transport teams, logistics, and dispatch to ensure smooth operation in all area.
Act as a point of contact between the depot and other departments, ensuring smooth communication flow.
Handle customer complaints and queries, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective resolution.
7. Continuous Improvement:
Analyze operational processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement best practices for warehouse management and logistics operations.
Participate in training programs to stay updated with industry standards and technological advancements.
