Major jobs and responsibilities include but not limited to:-

• Develop the company's inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs, generating savings, rationalizing inventory and maximizing available working capital.

• Create, install, and/or monitor inventory management system.Experience in construction materials handling and supervision of Inventory Department.

• Good Command in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Power Point and Inventory Management Software.

• Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure.

• Central store management.

• Coordinate monthly, half yearly and yearly physical inventory count and audit.

• Ensuring the proper record keeping relating to projects store.

• Making arrangement for removal of excess or unused material from project.

• Sale arrangement of scrap material.

• Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.

• Train, develop and retain a strong inventory team Experiential knowledge of the ABC stock classification system.

• Understanding of the proper use of Work Orders, priorities and schedules.

• Ability to analyze a business system.

• Knowledge of FIFO, LIFO and Weighted Average Method inventory management.
