Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

Akij Resource is hiring Officer – Inventory for multiple warehouse locations across Bangladesh. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory operations for grain products at designated warehouses. The selected candidate may be posted in different districts of Bangladesh and will ensure accurate stock management, proper storage, and efficient coordination with cross-functional teams to support smooth warehouse and supply chain operations.

 

Responsibilities & Context

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming grain crop materials, ensuring quantity and quality compliance with purchase documents.

  • Issue materials against approved requisitions and maintain accurate stock records in the inventory system and stock ledgers.

  • Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation to ensure alignment between system records and physical inventory.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with cross-functional teams to initiate timely replenishment requests.

  • Ensure proper storage conditions of materials and maintain inventory control using FIFO/LIFO principles where applicable.

  • Maintain store hygiene, safety, and security, ensuring proper arrangement and labeling of materials.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports to support internal and external audit requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, production, logistics, and finance) to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
