Experience:
A Packaging Infrastructure System Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving the systems, tools, and infrastructure that support packaging operations, packaging data management, automation, and integration with manufacturing or supply chain processes.
Design and develop packaging-related software applications and infrastructure systems.
Create and maintain databases, workflows, and automation tools for packaging operations.
Develop interfaces between packaging systems and ERP, MES, WMS, or other business systems.
Implement system enhancements based on operational requirements.
Maintain packaging IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and cloud environments supporting packaging operations.
Ensure system availability, reliability, and performance.
Monitor infrastructure health and resolve technical issues.
Develop automated solutions to improve packaging efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Support Industry 4.0 and smart packaging initiatives.
Manage packaging master data and system configurations.
Generate operational reports and dashboards.
Analyse packaging performance, downtime, and system utilisation.
Support data-driven decision-making.
Conduct system testing and validation before deployment.
Develop test plans and documentation.
Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide troubleshooting and support for packaging systems.
Resolve software, hardware, and integration issues.
Support production teams during system failures or upgrades.
Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and user manuals.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards.
Support audits and regulatory inspections when required.
Participate in packaging technology projects.
Coordinate with operations, engineering, quality, and IT teams.
Manage timelines, budgets, and implementation activities.
