  • Advanced Excel and data visualization capability (Power BI preferred)

  • Experience in FMCG/multi-category business environment is a strong advantage

An Inventory Analyst is responsible for optimizing inventory performance across the supply chain by balancing service, cost, cash flow, and risk. This role drives data-driven inventory policies, analytical modelling, and governance to ensure optimal working capital deployment while protecting service levels and operational resilience.

What You Will Do

  • Define, maintain, and continuously improve inventory policies (safety stock, reorder points, target stock levels)

  • Develop inventory segmentation models (ABC/XYZ, criticality, volatility, margin-based)

  • Align inventory strategy with service level targets and working capital objectives

  • Support mid- to long-term inventory planning aligned with S&OP outputs

  • Establish risk-buffering frameworks for critical materials and SKUs

  • Perform inventory modelling, statistical analysis, and scenario simulations

  • Evaluate demand variability, lead time variability, and supply risks

  • Monitor and report key inventory KPIs.

  • Identify optimization opportunities and recommend corrective actions

  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring inventory imbalances

  • Provide inventory insights and risk signals to Demand and Supply Planning teams

  • Support S&OP and S&OE forums with inventory risk assessments

  • Ensure data accuracy, master data integrity, and transparency in reporting

  • Collaborate with Finance on working capital targets and provisioning
