Responsibilities & Context:

Responsibilities

  • Planning the annual demand, procurement, and replenishment cycle of foreign raw materials and spares of the factories.

  • Ensure the timely delivery of all foreign raw materials and other operational supplies to the factories as per demand and planning.

  • Monitor factory requisition, LC opening updates, shipment schedules, lead times, and pending LCs status to optimize production.

  • Ensure timely LC openings and coordinate with all in-house departments for due diligence.

  • Maintain accurate records of supplier agreements, cross-functional terms.

  • Perform data analysis to support supply chain decisions and identify areas for operational improvement and cost optimization.

  • Plan, organize, and direct all activities related to LC opening, logistic coordination, inventory management, customs formalities, and supply chain governance for factory operation.

  • Implement import risk management practices, ensure statutory and trade compliances like Customs & Tariff, Foreign Exchange, Import Policy and Safety Standards.

  • Assist the management to negotiate contracts, terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers for import of goods.

  • Build and maintain effective teamwork, demonstrate willingness to hardwork, manage time efficiently and meet organizational deadlines.

  • Monitor slow moving, nearly expired, damaged and wasted inventory.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly supply import reports, KPI dashboards and action plan.

  • Execute any other procurement related assigned by Management.
