Responsibilities & Context:
  • Plan and coordinate statutory SEHSQ (Safety, Environment, Health, Social & Quality) audits and inspections across all SBUs.

  • Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and environmental impact evaluations across all departments (Quality, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Production, Safety, Administration, and Facilities).

  • Develop and implement sustainability initiatives, including 5S, resource efficiency, energy conservation, and reduction of water and paper consumption.

  • Maintain updated legal registers, licenses, permits, and compliance documentation in line with statutory requirements.

  • Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies through regular communication, office visits, and timely response to notices.

  • Handle renewal and re-issuance of all factory legal licenses.

  • Execute and support ESG sustainability reporting, including data collection, verification, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Plan, schedule, and ensure training programs, awareness sessions, and emergency drills to strengthen employee preparedness.

  • Conduct statutory QHSE audits and inspections and implement corrective actions for non-conformities.

  • Implement control measures identified during risk assessments across all SBUs and departments.

  • Oversee workplace safety performance, fire safety protocols, emergency preparedness systems, and welfare facilities (safe drinking water, evacuation readiness, etc.).

  • Monitor and maintain electrical safety measures, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), circuit protection, earthing systems, safety interlocks, and panel maintenance.

  • Conduct site visits to all SBU AR units and provide leadership support to resolve cross-functional challenges.

  • Monitor workplace safety performance and drive initiatives to achieve zero accidents by reducing incident rates and LTIR.

  • Lead daily inspection of fire safety equipment and implement checklists to identify faults and ensure corrective actions.

  • Track and evaluate sustainability initiatives, resource consumption reduction, and energy savings.

  • Review audit findings, risk assessments, and control implementations to ensure effectiveness.

  • Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory, and international standards related to health, safety, environment, and social compliance.

  • Follow up on third-party calibration activities and monitor load testing to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Review, update, and develop company policies related to Sustainability, SEHSQ, Environment, Health, Safety, and Social Compliance.

  • Ensure timely closure of audit findings and non-conformities across all departments and SBUs.

  • Update and improve electrical safety measures, audit procedures, and operational controls based on findings and incidents.

  • Support preparation and publication of ESG sustainability reports with accurate data, verification, and continuous improvement insights.

  • Ensure strong governance and ethical practices through certification management, system updates, and process improvements.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in sustainability and compliance.

  • Lead and ensure full environmental and regulatory compliance, including ECC, site clearance, environmental testing, and sustainable practices across operations.
