Job Context
Sinha Knit Industries Ltd., a 100% export-oriented knitwear manufacturer, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Yarn Controller to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and ensuring accurate handling of yarn inventory to support smooth production operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of yarn stock, receipts, and issues.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of yarn to avoid damage or wastage.
Monitor daily yarn consumption against production requirements and report discrepancies.
Coordinate with procurement and production departments to ensure timely supply of required yarn qualities and quantities.
Conduct regular stock reconciliations and support annual/periodic inventory audits.
Monitor yarn wastage, return, and leftover handling as per company policy.
Ensure compliance with company standards, buyer requirements, and quality procedures.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and consumption reports for management.
Any other responsibilities assigned by management.
