• Strong organizing, planning, directing and problem-solving skills.

Job Context:

Sinha Knit Industries Limited is a Sweater manufacturing company that produces sweater products and exports to European countries is looking for suitable candidates for the above position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Will work under Department Head and will be given assigned accounts to handle.

• According to buyer’s instruction develop the ordered item and approve from the buyer.

• Eligible to develop / handle new buyers and accordingly identify an unique, leading buyer.

• Should have technical knowledge on both knit from initial sampling development, sourcing, costing, price negotiation, order execution and final shipment.

• The candidate has to follow up and monitor closely on all merchandising processes professionally with client and suppliers to ensure timely shipment and quality product without any issues or delays.

• Will have the ability to handle stressful situations or challenges and be able to trouble shoot by taking the initiative to solve issues quickly.

• Will prepare daily, weekly and monthly report updates for Department Head and Client.

• Before going to the garment production, a senior apparel merchandiser must in-house all the necessary materials. In-time material collection will help him to respect the shipment date.

• Will support and work well with your team.

• Will prepare and dispatch product swatch boards, fabrics or samples for offer presentations or approvals to clients.

• Works closely with QA to ensure quality and timely deliveries.

• Works closely with Commercial to ensure goods are handover over to forwarder on time.

• Cost reconcillition after completion of each order.

• Any other tasks as assigned by the HOD/Reporting authority from time to time.
