Experience:
Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education, Gender Studies, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in training, peace education, conflict resolution, or community-based peacebuilding, preferably in NGO/INGO settings.
Proven experience in designing and delivering training modules on peace, gender, GBV prevention, and social cohesion.
Prior work in refugee/host community contexts, especially in Cox’s Bazar or similar humanitarian settings, is highly desirable.
Experience with BMZ, EU or other donor-funded projects is an advantage.
Age limit 25 – 40 years
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of participatory training methodologies, adult learning principles, and community mobilization.
Familiarity with conflict-sensitive programming, “Do No Harm” approaches, and gender-responsive frameworks.
Ability to develop training materials, facilitation guides, and monitoring tools in both English and Bengali.
Management & Communication Skills:
Excellent facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bengali.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and under pressure.

D. ROLE PURPOSE
The Coordinator for Training and Peace Education will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing all training and peace education components of the project. S/he will develop and deliver modules on conflict resolution, peacebuilding, gender equality, and social cohesion, ensuring alignment with project outcomes and donor requirements. The coordinator will also build the capacity of project staff, community groups, and stakeholders to promote sustainable peace and resilience within refugee and host communities.
