The CFM Assistant (CCCM Sector) in Bhasan Char is responsible for ensuring accessible, transparent, and responsive community feedback and complaint mechanism CCCM for affected populations. The role supports effective information sharing, accountability, and coordination among CCCM partners and service providers. By strengthening two-way communication with the community, the position contributes to improved service quality and informed decision-making. The CFM Assistant also promotes community trust and participation through consistent outreach and engagement.
Support the implementation of the Community Feedback and Complaint Mechanism (CFM) under the CCCM sector, ensuring proper receipt, documentation, referral, and follow-up of community feedback and complaints in line with established procedures.
Supervise and monitor CFM desk volunteers to ensure quality service delivery, accurate documentation, and effective community engagement.
Operate and manage the Information Service Centre (ISC) at the designated location, ensuring availability of logbooks, referral forms, feedback forms, suggestion boxes, and communication materials.
Ensure timely and accurate information management by recording complaints, feedback, radio listening group sessions, and other CFM activities in *KOBO* on a daily basis, with regular cross-checking against physical logbooks.
Coordinate and advocate with CCCM partners, relevant sectors, and service providers to facilitate referral, response, and closure of cases in line with agreed referral pathways.
Share and disseminate verified key messages and information approved by UNHCR and sector coordination, maintaining updated service mapping, FAQs, and a localized knowledge bank relevant to Bhasan Char.
Conduct regular outreach activities to raise community awareness on CFM and ISC services, working closely with community leaders, majhis, religious leaders, teachers, women groups, youth groups, and persons with disabilities.
Maintain organized records and documentation at the CFM desk, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and accessibility of information for reporting and follow-up purposes.
Safety and Safeguarding:
Ensure the safety of programme participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's · goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
