Experience:
Bachelor Degree/BA in relevant field (can be relaxed in case of experienced person).
At least 2 years of experience in development organization.
Knowledge of safety issues concerning children and adolescent.
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
Good understanding of Gender, Gender Based Violence, and prevention.
Good understanding of child safeguarding and equality for girls.
Commitment to gender equality, child protection, PSEA and related principles (Desirable).
Understanding on local culture and languages.
Ability to undertake extensive travel to village/community level.
Well-organized, self-motivated and ability to work in a team.
Event implementation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Context:
Friends In Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is going to implement Ashroy (Advancing Child Rights for Resilient Growth in Haors of Sylhet District) and Surokkha (Protect the Rights, Promote the Growth) Projects with support from Kindernothilfe (KNH). Both the Projects’ aim is to create a protective, inclusive and enabling environment in Haor and Tea worker communities from Sylhet Sadar, Kanaighat and Jaintapur Upazila where children-especially the most marginalized are safe, respected and supported to reach their full potential. The key changes envisioned are:

Functional community-based protection mechanism
Improved Community and Family Practices
Building agency of adolescents /Stronger Adolescent Participation and Leadership
Enhanced Access to Protection Services
Child-centered climate change adaptation and mitigation
Accountable and Responsive Duty Bearers
Resilient Systems and Improved Social Norms
The Projects’ period is from April 2026 to December 2030. By the end of these projects, Haor and Tea worker communities will have a reduced incidence of child rights violations, more supportive parenting and household practices and a network of empowered adolescents able to advocate for themselves. Duty bearers will be more responsive and systems for protection more robust and inclusive, ensuring sustainable safeguarding of children beyond the project lifecycle.
Job Summary:
The Field Facilitator is responsible for implementing all community-based activities, maintaining accurate field data and documentation, and engaging regularly with beneficiaries and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and facilitate Adolescent Clubs and Community-Based Child Protection Committees (CBCPCs).
Conduct training session with Adolescent Clubs, CBCPCs and parents
Mobilize community members on child rights and child protection issues.
Conduct all community activities in coordination with rights holders and community level duty bearers.
Monitor the regular engagement of beneficiaries in project activities.
Collect and maintain accurate field data and documentation, including beneficiary tracking and session reports.
Any other responsibilities as assigned by the FIVDB authority, beyond those explicitly stated in the JD/ToR.
