  • Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel).

  • Have excellent typing skill both in Bengali and English.

Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

This position will execute HPL operation and supervise the field facilitators. This position will identify the operational risk factors proactively. This position will be the assist Deputy Project Manager to ensure the overall administrative management of the Humanitarian Play Lab Programme and Coordinate with CIC, UNO and relevant authorities/donors in terms of administrative & logistics issues as per Project needs.

  • Support the rollout of Humanitarian Play Lab activities, mother-child dyad and father engagement session location in targeted communities, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards.

  • Supervise field-level implementation including daily playful sessions, caregiver engagement, and psychosocial support activities.

  • Coordinate logistics for materials distribution, play lab setup and community mobilization efforts.

  • Provide supervision and coaching to Field Facilitators, Case Workers, Field Assistant, Para counseling volunteers, Play Leaders and teaching volunteers.

  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor activity and provide on-site feedback.

  • Support and capacity building of field staff and volunteers through training, refreshers, and facilitation of learning sessions.

  • Ensure proper use of teaching learning materials in HPL and maintain stock position accordingly.

  • Identify the operational risk factors of the programme proactively and address those issues properly.

  • Coordination with CiC, Camp Focal, government personnel and different stakeholders

Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. 

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
