Experience:

• Diploma in Electrical

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.

NSC Skill Certificate Level 2 form EIM certification under NSDA / BTEB is mandatory.

Candidates with CBT&AM Level 4 certification will be given preference.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

At least 3-5 years of practical experience in the electrical installation and maintenance field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Trainer/Instructor in a recognized training institute, TVET center, or development project.

Proven experience in curriculum delivery, hands-on workshop supervision, and competency-based assessment.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Excellent command of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in EIM.

Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.

Proficiency in Bengali; working knowledge of English is often an advantage.

S/he should possess excellent writing, editing, and speaking skills in particularly English and Bengali.

Sound IT literacy with good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Internet.

Displays cultural, gender, religious, Indigenous, and age sensitivity and adaptability.

Treating all people fairly without favoritism or discrimination.

Ability to identify and remedy problems and make decisions.

Committed to meeting the deadlines.

Ability to work under pressure with team spirit.

Fulfills all obligations to gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.

ROLE PURPOSE

ANANDO is inviting applications for the position of Trainer (Electrical Installation and Maintenance – EIM), who will play lead role of the Training (Electrical Installation and Maintenance – EIM) and alternative livelihood opportunity-related programs, under the supervision of the Skill and Knowledge Management Officer and in collaboration with the Project Manager of ANANDO. The Trainer (Electrical Installation and Maintenance – EIM), will be based in Satkhira district to lead the project’s TVET and knowledge management components.
