• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or Power Engineering from any reputed public or private university.

• Strong interest in a career in power plant operation and maintenance.

• Basic knowledge of engines, generators, electrical systems, and power generation principles.

• Good working knowledge of MS Office and email communication.

• Ability to work in shifts, including nights and holidays, as required.

• Physically fit and comfortable working in a plant environment.

• Strong sense of discipline, responsibility, and safety awareness.

• Good team player with a positive attitude.

• Willingness to work at the plant site in Chattogram.

Job Context

We are looking for motivated fresh engineers to join our power plant in Chattogram as Trainee Engineers. This role is a structured entry point for building a career in power plant operation and maintenance, with hands-on learning.

Job Responsibilities

• Learn and assist in the operation of HFO-based generating units, including engines, generators, and auxiliary systems.

• Assist in routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant equipment under supervision.

• Monitor plant parameters, record readings, and maintain shift logs and daily operational reports accurately.

• Support the maintenance team during scheduled overhauls, repairs, and shutdown activities.

• Assist in the operation and upkeep of fuel handling, lube oil, cooling water, compressed air, and other auxiliary systems.

• Assist with electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, control panels, and protection systems.

• Follow all plant safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and HSE requirements at all times.

• Help maintain spare parts records, maintenance history, and equipment documentation.

• Participate in in-house training, on-the-job learning, and skill development programs.

• Perform any other technical tasks assigned as part of the training program.
