• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution

• Diploma in Civil Engineering / Survey Technology

• Training in Total Station, GPS Survey or AutoCAD / Civil 3D will be an advantage

• Hands-on experience in land and engineering surveying for construction or infrastructure projects.

• Proficiency in Total Station and Auto Level operation.

• Experience in GPS/DGPS surveying.

• Knowledge of topographic and contour surveying.

• Experience in setting-out piles, foundations and structures.

• Strong knowledge of levelling and alignment checks.

• Ability to perform cut-and-fill and earthwork volume calculations.

• Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.

• Knowledge of survey data processing.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D.

• Working knowledge of survey instrument software.

• Proficiency in MS Excel.

• Basic knowledge of Google Earth / GIS.

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain proper field books, survey records and reports.

• Ability to work effectively in remote project-site conditions.

• Willingness to work at EPC project sites.

CIPLC is looking for a qualified and hands-on Executive – Surveyor to support land and engineering survey activities across assigned EPC project sites.

The role will be responsible for conducting topographic, contour and boundary surveys, establishing survey control points, setting-out piles, foundations, structures and other project works, as well as performing levelling and alignment checks. The position will also provide reliable survey data for construction execution, quantity verification, progress measurement and as-built documentation.

Surveying & Site Execution:

• Conduct pre-construction topographic, contour and boundary surveys and prepare survey drawings.

• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks and grid lines at project sites.

• Carry out setting-out for piles, foundations, mounting structures, roads, drainage and buildings as per approved drawings.

• Perform levelling, alignment and verticality checks during construction and steel structure erection.

• Report discrepancies between approved drawings and actual site conditions promptly.

Quality Measurement & Project Support:

• Calculate cut-and-fill and earthwork volumes.

• Support BOQ, variation and subcontractor bill verification through accurate survey and quantity data.

• Conduct joint measurements with client/consultant representatives and subcontractors.

• Provide quantity data to support progress measurement and planning updates.

• Prepare as-built survey data and drawings for completed works.

Survey Equipment & Documentation:

• Maintain, calibrate and safeguard survey instruments and maintain calibration records.

• Maintain field books, survey records and reports.

• Submit survey records and reports to the Assistant Manager – QA & Planning.

• Ensure survey data is accurate, properly recorded and available for project requirements.

HSE & Coordination:

• Follow HSE requirements and safe work practices during all survey activities.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QC, HSE, Engineering/Design, Commercial and Stores teams as required.

• Coordinate with client/consultant representatives, subcontractors, survey service providers and local authorities.
