Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 30 years
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in planning & Quality functions for EPC projects.

  • Experience in Power, Industrial or Infrastructure EPC projects will be preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling, including baseline schedules, look-ahead planning and critical path analysis.

  • Practical experience in progress measurement, reporting and project dashboards.

  • Strong understanding of Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), QA/QC audits and NCR/CAPA management.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 45001/HSE Management Systems.

  • Working knowledge of survey, setting-out, levelling and quantity verification.

  • Understanding of civil and steel structure construction.

  • Strong document control and project documentation capability.

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS PowerPoint.

  • Strong analytical, planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary site teams.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, accountability and attention to detail.

  • Willingness to work at EPC project sites.



Responsibilities & Context:

The Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance & Planning will be responsible for project planning, progress control and quality assurance for assigned EPC Landport projects. The role will develop and maintain project schedules, monitor project progress, prepare progress reports and dashboards, and oversee the project quality system.

The position will also lead the Survey, Health & Safety and Quality Control functions at site to ensure projects are delivered on time, according to specification and in a safe manner from mobilization through testing, commissioning and final handover.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain baseline schedules, look-ahead plans and resource plans for assigned EPC projects.

• Monitor project progress against the baseline, analyze critical path and delays, and recommend recovery actions.

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards and client progress submissions.

• Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and QA/QC procedures.

• Review method statements, material submittals and vendor quality documents before execution.

• Plan and conduct quality audits and site inspections; manage NCRs, root cause analysis and CAPA closure.

• Oversee the site HSE plan, risk assessments, permit-to-work and incident reporting through the Executive – Health & Safety.

• Oversee survey, setting-out, levelling and quantity verification through the Executive – Surveyor.

• Coordinate inspection requests, quality approvals and test reports with clients, consultants and third-party laboratories.

• Ensure test certificates, quality records, as-built data and handover dossiers are complete and properly controlled.

• Provide planning inputs for billing/IPC milestones, variations and delay/EOT documentation with the Commercial team.

• Lead, guide and evaluate the Surveyor, Health & Safety and QC Executives to ensure discipline, capability and performance.
