Responsibilities & Context:
1.Manage the complete project from mobilization to handover.
2. Prepare project plans, work schedules, manpower plans, and construction programs.
3. Coordinate marine, civil, structural, piling, dredging, and jetty-related construction works.
4. Supervise contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.
5. Monitor daily progress and take corrective action to avoid delays.
6. Ensure construction follows approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and quality requirements.
7. Manage project costs, material use, equipment, and manpower efficiently.
8. Coordinate procurement and ensure timely delivery of construction materials and equipment.
9. Ensure proper execution of piling, pile caps, deck slabs, dolphins, fenders, mooring systems, access bridges, and other jetty facilities.
10. Monitor marine equipment such as barges, cranes, piling rigs, and work boats.
11. Ensure compliance with Bangladesh environmental, safety, labor, and construction requirements.
12. Maintain close coordination with relevant authorities, including BIWTA, Bangladesh Port Authority, Department of Environment, and local authorities, as applicable.
13. Identify project risks related to river currents, tides, monsoon, cyclones, flooding, navigation, and soil conditions.
14. Conduct regular site meetings and prepare progress reports for management and clients.
15. Maintain project documentation, records, drawings, inspection reports, and as-built documents.
16. Ensure safe working practices and conduct regular HSE inspections.
17. Lead project testing, commissioning, completion, and final handover.
