Required Experience and Technical Competencies

• 10–15 years of professional experience in structural engineering and design projects.

• Practical experience in bridge/underpass, culvert, foundation, retaining wall design.

• Experience in preparing and reviewing BBS, reinforcement details, quantity calculations, and shop drawings

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis/design software such as MIDAS Civil, CSI Bridge, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, or equivalent.

• Good knowledge of ACI, ASTM, AASHTO, BNBC, and other relevant structural design standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for Bridges, culverts/Underpass, retaining Wall, Drainage, Foundations, and other civil infrastructure.

• Prepare and review structural design calculations for mentioned above structures.

• Prepare and review structural drawings, reinforcement drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), quantity calculations, and construction/shop drawings.

• Perform structural analysis using appropriate engineering software and verify design results through engineering calculations.

• Ensure structural designs comply with applicable standards and codes, such as ACI, AASHTO, BNBC, Euro codes, or other project-specific standards.

• Review structural drawings and calculations prepared by engineers’ team and provide technical comments and corrections.

• Guide design engineers and CAD engineers involved in project delivery.

• Review shop drawings and resolve technical issues arising during construction or drawing preparation
