∎ Graduate/ Masters in any Discipline.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Drive the 2D and 3D engineering processes and manage the tooling creation and tooling manufacturing process with a focus on lead time and quality. This person will be involved in every aspect of the development process and requires a hands-on leadership style.
∎ External Tooling - 2D/Commercialisation Manager for brought in products, e.g. eyelets.
∎ Internal Tooling for products sourced from within the group.
∎ Ensure innovation technologies and processes are implemented.
∎ Drive manufacturing efficiency improvement projects.
∎ Manage tooling creation and tooling manufacturing lead time and quality.
∎ Ensure the latest product creation technologies and processes (such as Last, VR Sample, PE, etc.) are fully understood and implemented where possible.
∎ Shorten tooling creation and manufacturing lead time with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and forecasting and planning tools.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Tooling experience with a major footwear manufacturer or mould shop.
∎ Strong technical knowledge of tooling design, 2D and 3D engineering and manufacturing, CAD & CAM (Working knowledge of Romans and Rhino 6.0 would be ideal).
∎ Good technical footwear knowledge of product construction and manufacturing methods.
∎ Good knowledge in lean manufacturing principles, process automation.
∎ Strong project management knowledge and skill.
∎ Should be adequately knowledgeable with computer literacy.
