Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ A bachelor’s degree in any discipline or hold a recognized shipping qualification applicable to the role.
∎ Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in LPG shipping operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
∎ Experience in Marine transportation operations technical and administrative functions, including budget, labor, and operations management is desirable.
Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are seeking an experienced STS (Ship to Ship) LPG Operations Manager to oversee the operations of the Ship to Ship LPG Operations.
∎ Assessing LPG cargo type, weather conditions, LPG vessel capabilities, and required manpower to develop a detailed transfer plan.
∎ Maintaining clear communication channels between both LPG ship crews, including designated signal systems and VHF radio protocols.
∎ Supervising the proper securing and handling of cargo during transfer, including lashing and dunnage placement.
∎ Implementing and monitoring safety measures such as personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, designated working areas, and emergency response procedures.
∎ Verifying and processing all necessary paperwork related to the cargo transfer, including manifests, customs declarations, and bills of lading.
∎ Immediately addressing any incidents or emergencies during the transfer process, documenting details, and taking corrective actions.
∎ Ensuring adherence to all relevant maritime laws and standards regarding ship-to-ship operations, including safety regulations and environmental protection guidelines.
