Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s degree in any discipline / MBA at Apparel Merchandising will be preferable.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Buying House, Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communication with buyer, factory people, other related departments/sections of the company.
∎ Costing of products.
∎ Follow the process & procedures of buyers.
∎ Supervision, costing, and pricing of the product and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
∎ Monitoring the status of approval/ per-production/delivery.
∎ Coordinate with factory sample section to ensure proper sample design for buyers, send the sample on time and follow up any comments or acceptance of that sample from buyer side.
∎ Advice factory / production / quality team on fabric, production, quality etc. related technical issues as efficient/experienced troubleshooter.
∎ Effective follow-up on materials inventory, production process, quality standards & team performance.
∎ Must be creative and have a strong understanding of the products.
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned 'Time and Action Plan' on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
∎ Should be capable of new business development & promotion with fresh Buyer.
∎ Should have good connection with the buyers.
∎ New factory sourcing.
∎ Any other jobs assigned by the top management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants must have experience in the following area(s): Knit, & Sweater.
∎ Having experience especially in German / Dutch market.
∎ Should have experience to work with under any Liaison Office, Buying House or Discounter buyer.
∎ New buyer & Factory sourcing.
∎ Order execution.
∎ Age up to 40 years
∎ Both Males and Females are allowed to apply.
∎ Female candidates will get preference.
∎ Candidates reside Uttara or nearby will be given advantage.
∎ Proficient in English Writing & Speaking.
∎ Exceptional negotiation skills.
∎ Should be highly motivated and willing to take challenges.
∎ Must have working experience from buying house or renowned company.
∎ Can handle with big volume orders.
