∎ JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the communications, advocacy and knowledge management aspects of the DMDP supported project "Safe water for all: A new partnership for growth"; preparing periodic reports, explore and write evidence based articles/abstracts/flyers/brochure/blogs of best practices on project interventions for showcasing experiences with the government agencies, private sector, media and donors as well as influencing the government policy and advocacy.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare a detailed action plan for communications, advocacy and knowledge management including narrative reports of the project 'Safe Water for All: A new partnership for growth'.
∎ Collect required information from field and prepare of all periodic narrative reports (including donor report) as per donor guideline.
∎ Facilitate the campaign for stakeholder's mobilization on safe water supply and environmental pollution with industrial wastewater in the intervention areas including preparing documents on stakeholder's campaign of different aspects.
∎ Conduct/support research/study, initiate in capturing evidence based learnings under different interventions of the project for sharing with the stakeholders to influence the policy/strategy.
∎ Write articles/abstracts/flyers/brochures/blogs on good practices of the DMDP supported project interventions for submitting in national/ international events as well as journals.
∎ Prepare policy advocacy documents for influencing and implementation of GoB policy/strategy as well as maintain close coordination and collaboration with concerned stakeholder's forums (BGMEA, BKMEA, Media, etc.).
∎ Involve in organizing events (workshop, seminar, meeting, etc.) and participate in stakeholder's meeting/forums/exposure visit for sharing project learnings/ experiences.
∎ Support in preparing of different types documents under the project such as publication, MOU, Agreement, presentation, guidelines, etc. as well as giving input in writing concept note relevant with this project.

∎ Demonstrated ability to understand and contribute to realizing the strategic objective
∎ Web application and software application
∎ Computer operating (Microsoft office)
∎ Programme presentation through multimedia in forum or meeting
∎ Expert knowledge to manage the communication portfolio and delivery of messages to both internal and external audiences
∎ Expert in peppering periodic donor report and annual report
∎ Dealing with complex environment ability to solve them
∎ Accountability: Holds self-accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently
∎ Demonstrating/safeguarding ethics and integrity
∎ Ability to think strategically and carry out assigned tasks independently
∎ Proactive, highly motivated and able to use initiative to a significant degree
