Education:

Since 2017, IRC has supported Rohingya Refugees and Bangladeshi nationalities communities in Cox's Bazar, Khulna, Barisal, and Chittagong with integrated services. The organization also addresses climate change impacts by building resilience and promoting economic recovery, education, and protection.
Objective:
The internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to People Operations in an INGO environment. The intern will support routine HR administrative tasks while developing foundational knowledge of HR systems, payroll processes, and compliance practices under close supervision.

Contract Length: 2 months
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support Training Needs Assessment (TNA) activities by collecting staff input, maintaining trackers, and following up to ensure timely responses.
Assist in training implementation, including preparing participant lists, maintaining attendance records, organizing training files, and completing post-training documentation.
Support donor audits by compiling and sharing required HR documents in coordination with the team.
Assist with payroll processing, including data entry, verification, and assist in responding to basic payroll-related queries.
Support the staff separation process by closing personnel files and ensuring all required exit documentation is properly completed, filed and archived.
Draft the office memos, holiday notices, and other HR-related communications.
Provide English–Bangla and Bangla–English translation support for HR documents, internal communications, and meetings, as needed.
Others:
Promote and actively participate in initiatives and efforts to build team engagement, inclusion and cohesion in IRC [team/office]
Foster ongoing learning, honest dialogue and reflection to strengthen safeguarding and to promote IRC values and adherence to IRC policies.

Gain practical experience in various aspects of HR operations, including HRIS management, recruitment, and payroll processing.
Develop proficiency in utilizing office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Forms, Power Automate, List).
Enhance communication and interpersonal skills through interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
Improve language proficiency through providing translation services between English and Bangla.
Gain insight into donor audit processes and compliance requirements.
