∎ About GRP: The Global Resource Mobilisation and Partnerships (GRP) team is a one-year old/new unit with new leadership. We are at a critical and exciting juncture in our journey as we celebrate BRAC`s 50th year anniversary and as Bangladesh graduates to become a Middle-Income Country. As the funding landscape changes, we are focusing on strategic partnerships, new markets, new business models and new funding vehicles that will empower and enable us to "do development differently" as a leading global NGO from Bangladesh.
∎ GRP`s core functions are: new business development, resource mobilisation, grants management, and partnerships. We work with BRAC`s programmes and other units and our funding partners to co-create concept notes and high-quality proposals, manage grants and other resources, facilitate and strengthen partner networks, and serve as a knowledge partner.
∎ JOB PURPOSE: In this role you will identify, develop and manage new business opportunities and partnerships and mobilise resources by writing winning concept notes and proposals for effective programming that advance BRAC`s mission and vision. The resource mobilisation process also involves facilitating stakeholder engagement/ negotiations and design workshops.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify new partnership and business opportunities and initiate outreach and engagement to form new relationships.
∎ Build, nurture, and facilitate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Lead the concept note and proposal development process of high-value and/or multi-sectoral opportunities, in consultation with relevant internal/external stakeholders.
∎ Facilitate and/or organise design workshops for developing concept notes and proposals.
∎ Facilitate post-submission debrief sessions with key internal stakeholders for high-value and strategically important proposals as part of learning.
∎ Ensure that the fundraising pipeline data is correct and current and provide a quarterly health-check analysis.
∎ Oversee and manage fundraising staff (with dotted line reporting) in select programmes and support their professional development as needed, in consultation with senior management.
∎ Represent BRAC at external meetings and facilitate meetings/engagement with key donors, as guided by senior management.

∎ Strong communication skills, including strong analytical, writing and presentation skills.
∎ Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to operate with limited supervision.

∎ Curious mindset and the ability to think critically.
∎ Adequate understanding of some of the key donors based in Bangladesh, e.g., USAID, EU, JICA, NORAD, SIDA, SDC, UN agencies etc.
∎ Exposure or interest in philanthropy and private sources of capital.
∎ Is comfortable in grassroots and brass-tops environments and everything in between.
∎ Minimum 06 years of experience in the development/ international development, humanitarian or philanthropy sectors.
