Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Environmental Science, Social Compliance and Sustainability.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring social and ethical standards and follow up approval procedures.
∎ Responsible for audits. Buyers Code of Conduct, SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP, ICS, CTPAT, HIGG, FSLM/SLCP, BW, ISO, Safety issues (building, electrical & fire safety) and organization's compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
∎ Environmental management plan, monitoring waste water treatment Plan.
∎ Chemical Inventory, Wastage Inventory, Air Emission Inventory. Ensuring safe chemical handling, storage.
∎ Implementation of company safety rules, regulations and standard operating procedures for EMS and OHSAS
∎ Ensuring local SDS, GHG label and secondary containment
∎ CAP preparing through root causes to eliminate the issues permanently.
∎ To check all data, records, reports, formats, statements, files, books & register of related sections/departments are properly for up-date & maintained as per compliance requirement/standards.
∎ Internal liaisons with concern departments for expected results in water & energy use.
∎ Assess, monitor & supervise projects for improvements on specific issues raised by clients or legal authorities.
∎ External liaisons & effective communication with DOE, Stakeholders and communities involved in local & global environment and sustainability issues.
∎ Ability to find out the nonconformity and to take proper measures to address the noncompliance issues and present a solution to make it sustainable.
∎ Any other day to day activities as and when required.
