Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for supporting and executing day-to-day human resources and administrative operations to ensure smooth organizational functioning. This role will oversee recruitment coordination, employee onboarding, training administration, employee engagement initiatives, and overall administrative operations. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance employee experience, maintain operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage onboarding, probation, transfers, promotions and exit formalities for the SBU.

  • Coordinate recruitment logistics, document collection and background verification processes.

  • Process attendance, leave, overtime and payroll inputs in alignment with Finance/Payroll teams.

  • Administer employee benefits, insurance enrollments and statutory deductions.

  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential employee personnel files (physical & digital).

2. Compliance & Policy Execution

  • Ensure 100% adherence to labor laws, statutory requirements and company HR policies.

  • Maintain statutory registers, licenses and compliance documentation; coordinate renewals and filings.

  • Conduct periodic internal HR audits and implement corrective actions.

3. Office Administration & Facility Management

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations: housekeeping, security, pantry, transport and maintenance.

  • Manage vendor empanelment, SLA tracking, contract renewals and cost optimization.

  • Handle office asset management, inventory control, and procurement of supplies.

  • Coordinate travel, meetings, events, and ensure health & safety standards are maintained.

4. HRIS, Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain and update the SBU module in HRIS; ensure data accuracy and system hygiene.

  • Generate monthly HR dashboards: headcount, attrition, absenteeism, compliance status and admin spend.

  • Identify process bottlenecks and propose automation or workflow improvements.

  • Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with data protection guidelines.

5. Employee Relations & Engagement Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for SBU employees for HR queries, policy clarifications and grievance logging.

  • Support performance management cycles: appraisal documentation, rating consolidation and IDP tracking.

  • Assist in organizing training logistics, wellness initiatives and employee engagement activities.

  • Foster a positive, compliant and value-aligned workplace culture.
