Job Purpose:
Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient power plant operation through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely corrective actions.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Plant Maintenance & Reliability
Ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance of engines and related auxiliary equipment.
Maintain plant machinery to ensure safe, smooth, and reliable operation.
Diagnose electrical and electro-mechanical faults and take appropriate corrective actions.
Monitor equipment condition and develop proactive maintenance plans based on operating parameters.
B. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
Identify equipment faults, operational abnormalities, and potential failures.
Conduct systematic troubleshooting and recommend effective corrective actions.
Respond promptly to plant outages and maintenance-related issues.
Support continuous improvement of plant reliability and equipment performance.
C. Resource & Cost Management
Ensure economical use of spare parts, fuel, lubricants, chemicals, and other consumables.
Support maintenance budget preparation and forecasting of resource requirements.
Monitor maintenance-related expenses and ensure effective utilization of resources.
D. Maintenance Planning & Documentation
Ensure scheduled maintenance activities are completed within the required timeframe.
Maintain accurate records related to maintenance, operation, inventory, and equipment performance.
Ensure maintenance documentation is properly updated and accessible.
E. Cross-functional Coordination
Coordinate effectively with Operations, Logistics, Bunkering, and other relevant departments.
Communicate maintenance requirements, equipment conditions, and operational issues clearly.
Work collaboratively with different levels of employees to ensure smooth plant operations.
