About MICON

MICON is engaged in prefabricated steel buildings, industrial construction, and engineering solutions. We are looking for an experienced and competent Senior Structural Engineer to lead and support the design and engineering of both Steel/PEB and RCC structures.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures, PEB buildings, industrial facilities, and RCC structures.

* Prepare, review, and optimize structural drawings, design calculations, BOQs, and material specifications.

* Coordinate with architectural, civil, fabrication, production, and project teams.

* Review structural shop drawings and ensure compliance with approved designs and applicable codes.

* Provide technical support during fabrication, erection, and construction.

* Conduct structural assessments, troubleshooting, and design modifications when required.

* Ensure designs are safe, economical, practical, and optimized for construction.

* Mentor and supervise junior engineers and coordinate engineering deliverables.

Requirements

* B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate qualification in Structural Engineering.

* Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in structural design and engineering.

* Strong experience in both steel/PEB structures and RCC buildings.

* Proficiency in structural design and analysis software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, SAP2000, and relevant steel design/detailing software.

* Sound knowledge of BNBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE and other relevant international design codes.

* Experience in industrial and commercial building projects will be an advantage.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
