Additional Requirements: Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Compliance & sustainability standards and practices in the RMG sector.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Capability to manage audits and certifications.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and sustainability reporting platforms.
- Teamwork and coordination skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities & Context: Key Responsibilities:
Sustainability Strategy & Implementation
- Develop and execute sustainability action plans aligned with buyer expectations (e.g., Higg Index, ZDHC, SLCP, GRS).
- Monitor and implement factory-level sustainability programs (energy saving, waste management, carbon reduction).
- Lead environmental and social sustainability projects such as renewable energy, water recycling, and Eco-efficiency.
Certifications & Reporting
- Manage certification processes (GRS, OCS, RCS, BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, OEKO-TEX, etc.).
- Prepare and maintain documentation for sustainability audits and assessments.
- Submit monthly/quarterly sustainability performance reports to management and buyers.
Compliance with Buyer Requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of brand/buyer-specific sustainability protocols.
- Coordinate with compliance and merchandising teams to ensure sustainability alignment in production.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct regular training sessions for workers and mid-level management on sustainability awareness (energy use, chemical handling, environmental safety).
- Safety Training (Fire Safety, Electrical Safety, Health & Safety)Promote behavioral change for environmental responsibility among employees.
Audit Handling
- Manage Social audits (BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX) etc
- Face and handle third-party and brand sustainability audits.
- Internal Audit in side factory (Social, Environmental, Technical and Product Safety)Independently to handle RSC (Fire, Electrical & Structural) , Nirapon etc.
- Coordinate pre-audit, during-audit, and post-audit activities, including CAP follow-up.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Compliance, IE, Production) and external stakeholders (NGOs, auditors, buyers).
- Maintain transparent communication with sustainability teams of buyers/brands.7. Data Management & Analysis Track, analyze and maintain data related to energy, water, waste, chemical, emissions, etc.
- Use tools like the Higg Index FEM, FSLM, BEPI, or internal company trackers.
