Responsibilities & Context:

Towellers Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Industrial Engineer (Knitwear) to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving production efficiency, implementing lean manufacturing practices, and optimizing workflow within the knitwear manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct time and motion studies to improve production efficiency.

• Develop and monitor Standard Minute Value  and production targets.

• Analyze production lines and implement line balancing techniques.

• Develop, implement, and update Style Bulletins

• Apply IE tools (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.) for continuous improvement

·       Monitor operator efficiency and productivity.

• Coordinate with production and planning teams to improve workflow.

• Prepare and maintain production and efficiency reports.

• Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve output.

• Reduce style changeover time through method improvement

• Coordinate with Production, PE, and Planning teams for smooth execution.

• Maintain and analyze IE data using advanced MS Excel.

• Use ERP systems for data management;
