  • In-depth knowledge of knitted fabric finishing processes, including mercerizing, peach finishing, brushing, and heat setting.

Knit Fabric Designer – Circular Knit

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative knitted fabric designs and transform creative concepts into commercially viable and production-ready fabric developments.

  • Analyze buyer-provided fabric swatches, including fabric type, CAM & needle arrangement, yarn count, fabric composition, gauge, GSM, stitch length (SL), and yarn properties.

  • Identify limitations in knitted fabrics and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

  • Develop and optimize jacquard and decorative knitted fabric constructions.

  • Establish production-friendly Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for knitted fabric development.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve knitted fabric defects during knitting, dyeing, and finishing processes.

  • Analyze buyer feedback on knitted fabrics and implement corrective actions to meet quality standards.

  • Calibrate knitting parameters based on dyeing shade requirements.

  • Adjust knitting parameters according to post-processing washing and All-Over Print (AOP) specifications.
