Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager (AQC Certified from BESTSELLER) for the Quality Department at an Woven Shirts Factory.

Job Location will be Salna, Gazipur.

  • Final Shipment Authority: Conduct independent Final Inspections (FI) and audit packed merchandise to Best Seller’s Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) standards, holding the absolute authority to approve or reject shipments.

  • Pre-Production Alignment: Lead or actively participate in Pre-Production (PP) meetings to review tech packs, identify potential construction risks, and align factory teams on Best Seller's specific workmanship standards.

  • In-Line & DuPro Audits: Perform regular In-Line and During-Production (DuPro) audits at critical stages (cutting, sewing, washing, pressing) to catch defects early and enforce corrective actions.

  • Testing & Compliance Verification: Verify that all raw materials, bulk fabrics, and trims match the buyer-approved swatches and possess valid, passed laboratory test reports before production begins.

  • Pattern & Measurement Audits: Conduct strict measurement checks against the Best Seller size spec chart from initial size-set samples through to bulk production.

  • Defect Root-Cause Analysis: Analyse daily factory defect data (Right-First-Time rates) and collaborate with production teams to implement sustainable Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.

  • Packaging & Labelling Integrity: Audit packaging, labelling, barcode scanning, packing assortments, and carton marking compliance to eliminate any downstream retail distribution errors.

  • Direct Buyer Reporting: Maintain an independent line of communication with Best Seller’s regional quality team, submitting accurate, uncompromised inspection reports digitally within the required timeline.

  • SOP Enforcement: Monitor the factory’s quality management systems to ensure strict adherence to Best Seller’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical manuals.

  • Critical Failure Escalation: Immediately escalate critical quality issues, systemic workmanship failures, or integrity concerns to the brand's Quality Manager and factory leadership.

  • Any other tasks as assigned by the management.
