Responsibilities & Context:

Oversee the entire production floor operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production plans.

Monitor daily production output, efficiency, and line balancing against planned targets.

Drive Industrial Engineering (IE) initiatives to improve SMV, CM, line efficiency, and overall productivity.

Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction, resource optimization, and process improvement.

Ensure on-time delivery of all orders by closely monitoring Time & Action (T&A) plans. Collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to align production schedules with buyer requirements.

Lead manpower planning, allocation, and training for operators, supervisors, and line chiefs.

Work closely with Production teams to reduce rejection rates, rework, and wastage.

Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions in coordination with IE and technical teams.

Review machine layout, capacity utilization, and efficiency reports to optimize line setups.

Analyze production data, efficiency trends, and KPI reports, and present findings to top management.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S across the factory.

Build and maintain discipline, motivation, and performance culture among production teams.

Liaise with senior management and provide input in strategic decision-making regarding capacity expansion and automation.

Ensure accurate SMV calculation and garment costing support in coordination with Merchandising/Finance.

Manage production planning and control (PPC) in collaboration with the central planning department
