  • Strong Foundation in organic / inorganic chemistry, resin and solvent system.

  • Proficiency in printing ink formulation.

  • Ability to perform concern lab tests.

  • Quality control and product development skills.

  • Strong problem solving and innovation in product development / customer service.

  • Documentation, product data sheet preparation and compliance management.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Formulation of solvent based printing ink ( Flexible, paper and aluminium foil).

  • Performs color matching and testing to ensure quality.

  • Troubleshoots issues to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and meet client requirements.

  • Raw materials Testing and selection ( pigments, resins, additives, solvents).

  • Process optimization for production of printing ink.

  • Technical support for production and customers.

  • Manages ink inventories.

  • Improve current ink production to meet higher standards by adjusting chemical properties. 

  • Choose appropriate pigments, binders, solvents, and other materials for specific packaging applications.

  • Monitor ink performance on the production line, making adjustments as needed to resolve issues and maintain quality.

  • Identify the root cause of problems, such as inconsistent color or poor adhesion and develop solutions. 

  • Keep detailed records of ink formulations, raw materials, and test results for tracking and quality assurance.

  • Collaborate closely with production teams to implement new inks and processes. 

  • Adhere to industry standards and regulations for chemical usage and product safety.
