Experience:
Minimum 17 years of hands-on experience in the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector with experience in all knit, denim, sweater, tailoring and outerwear product, Activewear shall get preference.
Proven leadership skills with extensive experience in quality control and apparel buying/retails & factory.
Additional qualifications such as 5S, Six Sigma Black Belt, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of working directly with the quality departments of apparel retail customers.
To participate in meetings with apparel customers and provide guidance on quality and technical issues to enhance product productivity and safety.
To prepare and submit reports to management, and reviewing different types of quality and technical reports.
Oversee and manage all aspects of quality control and operational excellence with the factories, production units, washes, textile, embellishments units
Able to find out all types of faults in the garment making process, take immediate corrective actions and should set the quality norms in such a way that reject garments are minimized.
Making an effective plan for quality assurance for the garments product to ensure that quality of the garments delivered to the buyers are 100% in line with their requirement.
Develops and maintains quality assurance objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with the Managers of Manufacturing.
Analyze the statistical/recorded data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish required quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
Develop and implement quality assurance procedure in a way that ensures minimum involvement of time, manpower and other resources while delivering the optimum quality.
Plans, promotes and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.
Ensure adherence to international quality standards and compliance regulations of products.
Lead and motivate the quality assurance team to deliver consistent, high-quality products.
Implement effective strategies for process development, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with various departments to optimize quality full product and reduce wastage.
Maintain strong relationships with buyers, ensuring their requirements are met.
If any discrepancies happen, then it needs to be informed to the superior authority/management immediately for necessary action.
