1. Quality Management System (QMS)
Develop, implement, and maintain the factory’s QMS according to customer requirements and international standards.
Prepare and update quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and quality documents.
Ensure effective implementation of quality systems across all departments.
Conduct internal quality audits and follow up on corrective actions.
Maintain records related to quality performance and compliance.
2. Quality Planning & Control
Develop quality plans for sweater production processes.
Establish quality checkpoints from:
Yarn receiving
Knitting
Linking
Washing
Drying
Ironing/pressing
Trimming
Packing
Final inspection
Monitor defect rates and implement preventive actions.
Analyze quality data and prepare improvement reports.
3. Production Quality Improvement
Identify root causes of defects using problem-solving tools (5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, CAPA).
Work closely with production teams to reduce rework, rejection, and customer complaints.
Implement continuous improvement programs.
Train employees on quality standards and procedures.
4. Customer & Buyer Compliance
Ensure compliance with buyer quality manuals, specifications, and inspection standards.
Coordinate with buyers, third-party inspectors, and auditors during quality audits.
Handle customer complaints and develop corrective action plans.
Maintain shipment quality performance.
5. Audit & Compliance Management
Prepare the factory for buyer, social, technical, and quality audits.
Manage ISO-related documentation if applicable.
Ensure compliance with factory quality policies and regulations.
Conduct regular process audits and follow-up inspections.
6. Team Management
Lead QA/QC teams and provide technical guidance.
Set quality targets and monitor team performance.
Conduct training programs for quality inspectors and production workers.
Promote a quality-focused culture throughout the factory.
