Job Responsibilities:
∎ Arrange and conduct training (face to face and non-face to face) for Rohingya teachers and host community teachers of learning centers in the refugee camps.
∎ Facilitate discussion forums.
∎ Develop and collect training materials as needed.
∎ Communicate and follow up with the teachers and provide proper instructions.
∎ Communicate with the manager, pedagogical professionals and program staff to ensure teachers participation.
∎ Observe classroom teaching and provide feedback to the teachers.
∎ Attend ToT, orientation program and capacity development sessions on a regular basis.
∎ Prepare reports about training.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Able to speak fluently local dialect of Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar
∎ Prior experience working in the refugee camp (education sector) context will be given preference
∎ Knowledge about local dialect of Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar
∎ Better knowledge about project management and planning
∎ Highly skilled in speaking and understanding local dialect of Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar
∎ Excellent communication skill both English and Bengali
∎ Excellent Typing skill both English and Bengali
∎ Good advocacy and interpretation skill
∎ Have skills on Microsoft Office PowerPoint, MS Excel
∎ Respective to organizational rules and regulations
∎ Better understanding on organizational hierarchy
